MarkTab Ministries has been providing information on the web since 1995. MarkTab Ministries holds to orthodox Christian beliefs, and became the first Internet-based ministry associate of Willow Creek Association in 1998.
This website generally focuses on apologetics, a term derived from the Greek word apologia (απολογία), which means in defense of. Conceputally, this idea is found throughout the Christian Bible, including:

Historically, MarkTab Ministries has predmoniantly focused on Armstrongism, the philosophy historically promoted by Herbert W. Armstrong and Garner Ted Armstrong through the Worldwide Church of God (formerly the Radio Church of God). Armstrongism is also promoted, to varying degrees, by offshoot organizations such as Philadelphia Church of God, Living Church of God, and United Church of God (an International Association). There are many organizations which contain the phrase "Church of God" which have no relationship or history with Armstrongism or Herbert W. Armstrong. This ministry was the first to provide information on the Worldwide Church of God on the web in 1995.
